Franciscus Patricius (1529 – 1597) was a Croatian humanist and philosopher, a member of the Dubrovnik Republic. He was born in the city of Dubrovnik, and died in Rome. His Croatian name was Franjo Petriš. Patricius was a leading figure of the Dubrovnik Academy, and a prominent proponent of the Italian Renaissance.
