Ingemar Stenmark's full name is Jan Ingemar Stenmark. He is a Swedish alpine ski racer. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest alpine skiers of all time. He won six Olympic medals, including four golds, and 86 World Cup races, including 46 victories in slalom. He is the only male skier to have won the overall World Cup six times. He retired from competition in 1989.
