Kim Min-seok, better known by his stage name Xiumin, is the oldest member of the South Korean-Chinese boy band EXO and its sub-unit EXO-CBX. Born in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, on March 26, 1990, he began his entertainment career in 2008 after being scouted by SM Entertainment. Prior to his debut with EXO in 2012, Xiumin gained attention for his appearance in the music video for Girls' Generation's "Genie."
