Boškov was born in Kruševac, Serbia, on November 17, 1924. He was a Serbian football manager and player who played as a defender. He managed a number of clubs in Yugoslavia and Spain, including Partizan, Red Star Belgrade, and Real Madrid. He was also the manager of the Yugoslavia national team at the 1962 FIFA World Cup and the 1974 FIFA World Cup.
