Vujadin Boškov was born on 16 May 1931 in Kragujevac, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He was a Serbian footballer and manager. He played as a defender and was capped 17 times for Yugoslavia, appearing at the 1958 FIFA World Cup. He played professionally in Yugoslavia for Partizan Belgrade, OFK Beograd and FK Radnički Kragujevac. He later had a successful managerial career, winning the European Cup with Porto in 1987.
