Answer
Emperor was the title held by Sigismund’s son-in-law, Albert II. Albert succeeded to the throne of Bohemia in 1437 and assumed the title of King of the Romans in 1438, becoming Holy Roman Emperor in 1433 upon Sigismund’s death. His rule, however, was short-lived as he passed away in 1439, leaving behind a legacy marked by territorial expansion and conflicts with the Hussites.
