Shigeru Miyamoto joined Nintendo in 1977 as an artist. He was quickly promoted to game designer, and in 1981 he created Donkey Kong, one of the most successful video games of all time. Miyamoto went on to create many other classic games, including Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Star Fox. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential video game designers of all time.
