Answer
Morphic resonance is the hypothesis put forth by Rupert Sheldrake that the form and behavior of organisms are influenced by a field of morphic information, or "morphogenetic field", which is non-local, transpersonal and non-physical. Morphic resonance is said to explain telepathy-type interconnections between organisms, as well as the way in which animals and plants are able to adapt to their environment without any direct experience.
