Roy Emerson was born on November 3, 1936. He is an Australian former professional tennis player who won 12 Grand Slam singles titles during the 1960s. Emerson is one of only three men to have won all four Grand Slam singles titles at least twice, along with Rod Laver and Novak Djokovic.
