Rogers Hornsby played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. He was one of the most dominant hitters of his era, winning the National League batting title eight times and the Triple Crown twice. Hornsby was also a talented fielder, winning seven Gold Glove Awards. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1942.
