Per Stridfeldt was a Swedish astronomer who was born in 1628 in Stockholm. He studied at Uppsala University and later became a professor of astronomy there. He is best known for his work on the orbit of Mars, which he published in 1661. He also made several observations of comets and other celestial objects. Stridfeldt died in 1692.
