Answer
Most of Maurice Sendak's artwork was created in a studio in his Ridgefield, Connecticut home. The studio was located in a converted barn on the property and was equipped with a variety of art supplies and tools. Sendak often worked in the studio for long hours, and he would often spend entire days there, working on his illustrations.
