Hergé was born in Etterbeek, a municipality of Brussels, Belgium on June 22, 1907. He was a Belgian cartoonist and writer best known for his comic series The Adventures of Tintin, which has sold more than 200 million copies worldwide and has been translated into more than 50 languages.
