Žarko Dadić was a Croatian writer and poet. He wrote the biography of Patricius/ Petriš, a 12th-century Croatian nobleman who was the ban of Croatia from 1172 to 1192. Dadić's biography was published in 1978 and is considered to be one of the most important works of Croatian historiography.
