Answer
Eugene Delacroix was a French Romantic painter. He was also a fine lithographer, a process in which images are transferred to stone using a greasy crayon and then printed. Lithography was a new technique at the time and Delacroix was one of the first artists to use it. He created many lithographs, including portraits, landscapes, and scenes from his own paintings.
