Françoise Mouly is the wife of Art Spiegelman, an American cartoonist and comics artist best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel Maus. Mouly is a French-American illustrator, editor, and publisher who has collaborated with Spiegelman on numerous projects, including the avant-garde comics magazine RAW. She is also the co-founder of Toon Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House that publishes graphic novels for children.
